Driessens & Verstappen have received several commissions from (semi) public government institutions. Occasionally it involved designing a coin, but most often it involved a site-specific artwork inside the institutional building or in the public domain:

Together with artist Arnoud Holleman they realised Time Warp: an intervention at Witteveenplein Rotterdam and a 20-year online film project (2003-2023). The resulting film can be viewed at www.witteveenplein.com. Commissioned by CBK Rotterdam.

The Birth Coin princess Amalia (2004) was issued on the occasion of the birth of the throne's heir, commissioned by the Dutch Ministry of Finance.

E-volver (2006) is an interactive site-specific art installation for the Research Labs of the LUMC Leiden University Medical Center. The users of the building influence the evolving images via touch screens.

Mirroring Water (2012) is a data responsive artwork for the WMCN, the Dutch Water Management Center in Lelystad. The video installation responds to current weather conditions and water levels.

EquilArbre (2023) is a long term artistic experiment with trees in cylindrical pots, installed at ILVO, the Flanders Institute for Agricultural, Fisheries and Food Research.
